December Trip to Rwanda In the first week of December, my husband Douglas and I will be traveling to Rwanda, Africa, with a small group from our Board of Directors to continue in our ministry to the orphans of the 1994 genocide. So many aspects of our ministry in Rwanda will be addressed on this trip and a foundation for our future work will be established as well. Many strategic meetings are being planned to create a productive network for the businesses we are hoping to begin. These businesses will employ primarily orphans as they go to school and/or learn a trade that can support them for the rest of their lives. One of the members who will be traveling with us this December is an International Business consultant who will be advising us in many aspects of our work. It has been amazing to watch God put together such a professional and well trained group to assist us in what He is asking us to do. In order to make this trip possible, Douglas and I will need $3,000 for air fare. We will also be raising funds to support Humura Ministries with an open counseling office for the orphans who are struggling with Post Traumatic Stress and are in desperate need of a listening ear.
